We can always change our minds because there are no "carved in stone" beliefs in this venue. There is an abundance of new evidence to be looked at with an open mind and an open heart. An open minded evaluation contradicts many long-held beliefs such as God's conception magic° act and tells us, for example, that either everything is sacred or nothing is. When you get beyond the social mouth-farting, the carved-in-stone dogma, and the inflammatory rhetoric, most religions hold to the same basic values: Love God, Love your neighbor, and love yourself.

In the context suggested in The Yoni Dance books , we can love God, ourselves, and our neighbors with equal intensity and with equal devotion because the evidence seems to indicate that all three are one and the same thing.

When I was a kid, I was told that sex was for sinners, masturbation was the devil's playground, non-whites were inferior, Catholics had exclusive access to God, storks brought babies, rich people were bastards, and that I was inherently evil. The sad thing is that kids are still getting this kind of brain washing. Thanks for the Yoni Dance books. They are brilliant candles in a sea of human darkness.

At last, a perspective on religion that simply offers the evidence and then invites me to make up my own mind about what to believe.

Combining head and heart provides an approach to religion that is similar to my approach to politics. I'm "A Reasonable" which means on some issues I'm conservative, on others, I'm liberal, and on still others, I simply don't have enough information to hold a strong opinion one way or the other.

Before I read The Yoni Dance, I thought Tantric sex was for mystics or weirdoes. I didn't understand how strongly the Eastern religions embrace sexuality or how intensely the Christian religions deny its divine nature.

You asked me to examine my belief in God? If you are talking about a fickle, angry, jealous, vindictive, wrathful, vengeful, super-human being sitting on a cloud somewhere -- a god so small he can fit inside of just one religion -- a god so weak that he needs our help to punish the unfaithful -- a god so weird that he murdered his own son as an expression of love, then no, I don't believe in god.

If you're talking about a God that is the source of all creation -- A God that designed the magical order of the Universe -- a God that transcends human understanding -- a God that is the sum total of all that is -- a God that is Total Awareness, Absolute Acceptance, and Pure Love then, yes, I do believe in God.

Your books remind me of this ancient question, "Am I a human being dreaming that I am a god or am I a god dreaming I am a human being?"
